Are you a qualified Counsellor, Psychotherapist or Therapist looking to work with young people as a Mental Health Practitioner?
Are you also dynamic, able to work proactively and looking for a varied, stimulating and rewarding role?
We are recruiting staff to provide therapeutic support to children and young people within the Powys local authority area, where we are a registered service provider. This work could be delivered either in person or online. You will work within Place2Be’s therapeutic model which involves undertaking an assessment and formulation process for all referrals received. If counselling is indicated as an appropriate intervention, we provide up to ten sessions, reviewing at 7 and with the possibility of extension if clinically appropriate.
This role will also entail an element of systemic working and developing positive working relationships with other professionals in the area.
If your application is successful and you join our Staff Bank you may be called upon at short notice, on your available days to deliver services in line with identified and agreed need.

Place2Be is committed to equal opportunities and anti-discrimination practices and we positively encourage applications from all sections of the community. We are particularly interested in attracting applications from applicants from diverse groups.
Additionally, for our clinical roles we are particularly keen in attracting male candidates to reflect the diversity of the partner schools and communities we work in.
All successful applicants to clinical roles will be asked to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure from the DBS/PVG.
We are an organisation that is fully committed to the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults and take this responsibility seriously.
