We’re looking for a creative and
enthusiastic Digital Marketing Officer to join us in making sure no child has
to face mental health challenges alone. This is an exciting opportunity to be

One of the highlights of this role will be taking the
lead on social media for Children’s Mental Health Week, one of our biggest and
most impactful campaigns. You’ll plan the social campaign from start to finish,
bringing fresh ideas, creating engaging content, and helping us reach and
inspire audiences across the country.
Day-to-day, you’ll be the voice
behind our social media, leading our activity across Facebook, Instagram,
Threads and LinkedIn. This will be the heart of your role (around 60% of your
time), where you’ll shape our presence, build our community and bring our
mission to life through creative storytelling and engaging content.
You’ll also support the Senior
Digital Marketing Manager in setting up email marketing and paid media
campaigns (Meta Ads and Google Ads), helping us reach even more children and
families. While strong organic social experience is key, we’ll support you with
training and hands-on experience to build your confidence across other digital
channels, so you can grow and thrive in the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day management of social media
channels, including planning, scheduling and publishing content via Sprout
Social
- Create engaging, high-quality content (reels, videos,
graphics, posts) that resonates with our audiences
- Manage community engagement, responding to comments and
interacting with supporters
- Ensure all content reflects our commitment to equity,
diversity and inclusion
- Assist with email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp
(including set-up, segmentation and testing)
- Support the setup and optimisation of paid campaigns
across Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager
- Analyse performance using tools such as Sprout Social
and Google Analytics, and make recommendations for improvement
- Identify opportunities to expand reach and engagement
through both organic and paid activity
What We’re Looking For
- Experience managing social media channels for an
organisation, with a strong focus on organic content and community
management
- Experience / knowledge in one of the three channels
(email, paid social or paid search)
- Experience using a scheduling/listening tool such as
Sprout Social
- Excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills
with strong attention to detail
- Content creation skills, including Canva and video
content for social platforms
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Ability to communicate digital marketing concepts
clearly to non-specialists
- Awareness of social
media trends and emerging platforms
